is a licensed marriage & family therapist offering psychotherapy for adolescents and adults.
Approach
Counselling, Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & Psychiatric Consultation.
We all experience times in our life where we find ourselves struggling and need additional support. It is my belief, that when we feel understood and are able to make sense of the challenges in our life, we can experience healing, growth, and the ability to make the change we desire.
I consider myself a psychodynamic therapist, in which I assist my clients in exploring their unique history and how it influences their way of being in the world today. My goal is to provide you with a nonjudgmental, supportive, and compassionate therapeutic environment to begin this process and identify the challenges you are facing.
I obtained my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from San Diego State University. I have experience in a wide range of mental health issues such as life transitions, body image, depression, anxiety, family conflict, grief and loss, parenting concerns, stress management, relationship concerns, abuse, and trauma. If you are wondering if I can help with your specific concern, please feel free to give me a call. I would love to hear from you!

INSURANCE
If you have a PPO insurance plan, services may be covered in full or in part. HMO insurance will not provide coverage for services. It is important that you contact your insurance company directly and understand your policy’s coverage. The following questions may be helpful to you when contacting your insurance company:
What is my out-of-network deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?

How do I know if I need psychotherapy?
Everyone experiences stages in life where we could use additional support. Taking the initiative to seek therapy is often a sign that you are ready to take control and change some aspect of your life that is no longer working. Therapy can provide the support and guidance needed to make long-lasting changes.
What can I expect on my first visit?
My hope is that you will experience from me, a genuine interest in your personal history and what has brought you to therapy. For about an hour, we will discuss the areas of your life you would like to change and explore together. I will also explain the policies of my practice and answer any questions you may have about the therapeutic process.
How long will I be in psychotherapy?
The length of time a person spends in therapy varies. If you are struggling with a specific concern, it could be short term. If you are struggling with a concern that is rooted in your developmental history or you are seeking therapy for self-exploration, it is often long term.
